If I Ruled The World...

If I rule the world...

what the hell we paying taxes for? Some scum craze bombing next door, no food or shelter for our own poor, keep building factories to farm resources and ore, turn heaven to slavery for a little more than my brethren's worth. We all are equal, just happy people, end all the violence, send diplomats instead army attacks, fix global hunger in a heartbeat, let no child nowhere starve to death;

I just tossed a wrapper in that very breath, imagine dying cause your mom was raped, some poor woman too poor to eat each day, now she stands and watches as her only food goes empty into his belly but its not enough. The men who made him probably died by then. A whole country run by uneducated children, never grew up to be men. Real men are busy grinding cause principles and discipline are all they know; everything else might just be hell putting on a show. I'll show the world how far proper virtues go, what if your parents left you when you were 5, what charming qualities would you possess now that wouldn't be criminal applied in our times. A whole society lets its neighbors suffer, turning a blind eye.

As long as their uneducated, manipulate the lot and steal their resources, name it civil unrest; I've been meaning to put that laser missile launcher to the test. Pretty soon the blood will dry and nobody left to protest. Let their children watch, what did they care? By time they've grown, we'll let our children take their turn defending avengers never learned any goodness, only war crimes regret. No more politics, a straight democracy, each man one vote, each woman too, even each child. You're born, here's your voting pad, you break it you pay only repairs, the parts are all removable components, built to last for life, even backs itself up, so it never needs anything but new skins or ports, all self-assembly, learned through the help files on the machine.

You're even buried with it; one man, one vote; by the time you can read and turn a screwdriver, that's all you'll ever need, learn math and english as advanced as voting questions dictate so each can study before they cast their vote, can always change it later, once majority established, the vote is law, effective at that time for a year if the votes have dropped below half, otherwise for a year unless unanimously agree to freeze, mistakes happen but the difference is, do you lie with broken promises to the midwestern farmers whose votes have weight? Compared to educated city-folk who somehow all vote skewed very weak. One vote from dakota equal to ten thousand of the planet's smartest go getters, why hasn't anyone done that math? Why are all the votes from reep or demm, half wanted Gore but the paper jammed? Listen, I just want the freedom I was promised if I came to this land.

Well I was forced, and now I'd go, but you even polluted toxic oceans so bad, I can't even stick my head deep in the sand. All vote for me, start practicing peace, make clothing and foods that work with mother nature not farm her to pesticidal death and chop down any witnesses! What you think this is? I need oxygen to breath. Can't you see we've mutated so stupidly only 10% of our brains are functioning? The rest is gray! That can't be good! Ain't nothing good ever bleed out gray. Sounds like a lifetime of pesticide-fueled poisoning and antibiotic-defended zombies, wait, the ones failed geometry are given the firearms?

I'd rather trust law enforcement to the ones who earned straight A's in physics to protect the African children; how's a bullet excused for murdering an innocent life? That's not a crime? Then sign me up, I must be in Naziland with ghettoes lined around the boo-rgeouis blind as billion dollar banks bet your economy down to its last silver dime. America meant something real to me when I heard it, and frankly, I believe a deal's a deal. I was promised democracy, the word was tossed around so much I caught a beating from dancing too much when a young child saw that chance of freedom suddenly become real. Well then I got here, no lie, I maybe voted twice, both times for some arrogant ass that i didn't know.

What the fuck's the difference its just all a giant puppet show. You pay the tax, they claim war tech is worth the hate that engineered them, but more keep being built. Listen, I don't even want to be here anymore, the thrill is gone, you've won, I quit, not one person cares that there is no peace in the entire world. I'd visit Hawaii, but you gotta live atop a live volcano for food to have nutritional value equal to what the rest have to stamp organic for fear the truth about the poisons is why cataracts make you go blind; curtail your life, tell you that's normal, everybody dies around 100, well hey wait a second thats not true. Right in the bible live to 900, same sun, same planetary spin, same math that counted to ten, so who wants to claim the bible got it wrong? That book's divine, such a claim would be a sin.
Put me in charge, no more wars, bring the kids home, it's back to school but fun instead of a bore. Whatever you find alive I'm sure there's got to be some positive spin. Still want to fight? Evander's waiting in the ring, ready to fight? Begin! No? Then shut up, you're just a bully and a half a piece of fried chicken. Stop drinking alcohol, what do you think happens when you mix pesticides and poisons in pill form with alcohol on a regular basis? Well did anybody check? FDA is too busy? Isn't this the one thing they are paid to check? It's the top two pollutants affecting every American man. I'd like to guess?

Ding. Yes? cancer! That's right! You won, but this is the gift that will end your life, sorry, you made your decisions in life, so that means it's your fault children are still not being taught the fundamentals, including virtues, and not eating poisons, when's that class? I've been sitting waiting here for freakin 12 years. I still don't know which mushrooms kill me and which ones give me a rush, but I can wield a pen! Listen, if I want to write or do math the rest of my life I'll elect that class, but first teach me universal truths, like friendship is lifeblood not competition, creating caste systems out of cliques now, skew the votes and one more year, right after elections, pull the tax scam again. Now read it again.

Witch Exiled

Witch Exiled "Bring this witch before me," states the queen. "Witchcraft falls under my jurisdiction," argues the goblin king. The queen looks over at her husband. Her head turns slightly, signifying the anger she is restraining. "Here she is," calls out a royal guard from behind the audience in the royal court. A pathway clears up as two guards emerge at the other end of the room, holding a witch's arms at her sides. She is slumped over, showing visible signs of physical abuse. "Bring her forward," orders the queen. The royal guards march her down the path cleared by the standing audience. Her feet drag as her body is pulled before the king and queen. "This is out of my hands," the goblin king states calmly. "I didn't know!" The witch calls out, barely lifting her head to speak. "You didn't know what?" Asks the queen, "you didn't know it's against goblin law to practice magic in the ro...

Stone Flight

"Lady, I got two months to live," I explain. My legs trembling beneath me like some stoner just caught his buzz and can't stand on his own two feet. "That may be, but I can't let you on there with this," she argues. Her voice firm, and her eyes confirm she is unconvinced. She whispers into the mouthpiece of her walkie-talkie something garbled that I can't make out; my hearing obscured by the drugs taking their toll on my body. I lost my sense of smell earlier this year. Suddenly food lost its flavor; the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong until an assistant asked if maybe I just lost my sense of smell, then suddenly it became clear that it wasn't anything serious. "Get me your supervisor," I demand. She squares off her footing and places her fists on either hip, standing firmly as if waiting for backup. Sure enough, not a moment later two other men show up, armed and just as serious. "Sir, he'll tell you the same th...

A Witch is Born

I wish there was something more I could say to explain why I'm so closed off from the world, but I've never really had a close relationship with my feelings. When I was young, I experienced every negative event a child should never even bare witness to, let alone shelve upon her shoulders as a growing collection of future obstacles to personal success. My world was small, and it shrank every year as I continued to remove people from my circle of trust.
